Yes. Renewal can be completed through the WEBPAC page of Taipei Public Library or APP before an item becomes overdue. The relevant principle governing the renewal of library books and materials is as follows:

1. Materials may be renewed if it is not overdue, or preserved by others while the patron’s library card remains valid.
2. Books and audio-Visual materials may be renewed twice if it is not overdue, or preserved by others while the patron’s library card remains valid. 
3. There is a two-time renewal limit. For books the renewal period is 30 days, while the renewal period for audio-visual materials is 14 days. Both take effect the day after an item is renewed.
4. Materials can be renewed online only, cannot via telephone, e-mail nor apply at Circulation Desk.
