Multimedia Materials:
The Multimedia Room located on the 8th Floor of the Main Library is abound with multimedia collections. These collections include Digital Versatile Discs (DVD), Video Compact Discs (VCD), Compact Discs (CD) , Video on Demand Systems (VOD), Blu-Ray Discs (BD), Streaming Service and etc.
Multimedia Facilities:
(1) In the Multimedia Room, The Library provides seats for the patrons who wants to appreciate the DVD, VCD, BD or VOD and Streaming Service for entertainment or self-learning. In addition, Viewing Rooms and Group Viewing Rooms are also available to families and groups for watching visual materials inside the Main Library.
(2) Multimedia facilities are also available at our Branch Libraries.
Multimedia Materials Lending:
(1) All multimedia materials can be borrowed free of charge. They also can be appreciated inside the Library. Patrons may borrow one piece at a time and shall return it within 3 hours
(2) Borrowers should follow the related regulations of the Motion Picture Rating System of the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, Ministry of Culture.
Projection of Films:
The showing times of all films are scheduled and announced in advance. Patrons may appreciate these films free of charge at the designated times.
(1) Group appreciation: 2:30 PM daily, at the Group Viewing Room of the Main Library. The Library also provides reservation services for group film appreciation.
　 ‧Time: 2:30PM daily.
　 ‧Place: Group Viewing Room of the Main Library.
　 The Library also provides reservation service for group film enjoyment.
(2) Taipei Public Library Cinema:
　 ‧Time: 6:30 PM every Tuesday
　 ‧Place: Second basement floor (B2) at the Main Library
(3) Branches Cinema :
　 ‧Time: Please contact with our Branch Libraries
　 ‧Place: Viewing Room at our Branch Libraries
(4) Family Cinema:
　 ‧Time: 10:00 AM every Sunday
　 ‧Place: Group Viewing Room at the Main Library
Multimedia Online Audio-Film Program:
(1) Live Online Program :
In order to offer better services, the Library has designed the Live Online Program for patrons to watch a variety of the popular or special audio-film programs simultaneously.
(2) Non-Real-Time Online Program:
Patrons may view past activities, events, or programs that the Library had previously held:
　 a. Lecture on special topiqqcs.
　 b. Online workshop.
　 c. Miss Lin's Story-telling.
　 d. On-the-job training.
　 e. Performances.
