隨著高齡人口比例不斷增加，臺灣已是高齡化社會。面對人口環境變化之下的公共圖書館，除了理解高齡者身心狀況，亦應探究其資訊需求與行為，以規劃更貼近高齡者之閱讀環境與資訊服務。
As the proportion of seniors keeps increasing, Taiwan has become an aging society. Under the changing circumstances, public libraries should have a deeper understanding of seniors’ physical and mental conditions, information needs, and behaviors, therefore to provide a senior-friendly reading environment and suitable information services.
