隨著科技發展以及網際網路的普及化,公共圖書館服務內容與傳遞方式已轉趨多元。公共圖書館擔負社區學習中心之角色,為滿足讀者需求與期望,如何在有限的經費及人力資源下,運用有效的行銷策略,促銷公共圖書館服務,以吸引更多民眾支持與認同並能形塑圖書館專業角色,為當今公共圖書館所要正視的課題。
With advances in technology and the popularization of the Internet , public libraries have more and more information services and delivery methods. Public libraries not only take the role of community learning centers, but also turn to “reader –oriented” libraries. Within limited budgets and human resources, public libraries now need to figure out how to use effective marketing strategies to promote library services, attract public support, and shape the professional identity of public libraries.
