I. Purpose
The purpose of the Storytelling for Infants and Toddlers program is to enrich reading experience of infants and toddlers as well as eliciting their interest in reading. We also hope that the storytelling activity can encourage interaction between parents and children through reading.
II. Contents
Materials for storytelling are primarily picture books carefully selected by our Bookstart staff to make sure that they are suitable for infants and toddlers. The storytelling activity is an excellent opportunity for cultivating a reading habit in children. Let wonderful books accompany every child to bring them joy and happiness.
III. Subject
The Storytelling for Infants and Toddlers program is recommended for children between 0 and 3 years old and their parents.
IV. Time Schedule
It is held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month.
Session I: 10:00 – 10:30 AM
Session II: 11:00 – 11:30 AM
V. Location
The activity is held at the Small World, our foreign language library for children, on the second basement floor (B2) at our Main Library.
VI. How to Join Us
It is open to the public, and no registration is required in advance. Please enter the venue five minutes before the activity starts. Please arrive on time.
