In order to advocate the right of every child to be exposed to quality reading materials, all babies, regardless of gender, race or wealth, from registered Taipei City household, will receive a free gift packet, containing two picture books, a baby reading handbook for parents called Baby Loves Reading, and a copy of Baby's First Booklist, if they own a Baby/Toddler Library Card and their parent(s) has completed the parental learning seminar.
